First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study looks at whether people with brain metastases can safely avoid the steroid dexamethasone before and after surgery. About 35 adults with new brain tumors and a suspicious or confirmed cancer elsewhere will be enrolled. The main goal is to see how many need to start dexamethasone later, and to check if avoiding it helps preserve immune function.
