First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study looks at whether people with brain metastases can safely avoid taking dexamethasone (a steroid) before and after surgery. Researchers want to see if skipping the drug reduces the need for it later and helps the immune system. The trial involves 35 adults with new brain tumors and a suspicious or confirmed cancer elsewhere in the body.
