Heart valve noise: does Pre-Surgery info help patients cope?

Summary
This study looks at people with a mechanical heart valve who hear a clicking noise from it. Researchers want to know if remembering information given before surgery about this noise affects their quality of life afterward. About 180 participants will answer questionnaires over the phone to help find out.
