First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study looks at whether measuring a small part of the baby's brain (the thalamus) using 2D ultrasound can reliably estimate how far along a pregnancy is. Researchers will measure the thalamus in 110 pregnant women between 18 and 36 weeks. The goal is to see if this measurement matches known growth patterns and could be a useful tool for checking fetal development.
