First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study looks at whether measuring the thalamus (a part of the brain) in unborn babies can help doctors figure out the baby's age. Researchers will use 2D ultrasound to measure the thalamus in 110 pregnant women between 18 and 36 weeks. The goal is to see if this measurement is a reliable way to track fetal growth.
