Does WHEN you eat matter more than WHAT you eat? study tests timing for weight loss
NCT ID NCT03354169
Summary
This study investigated whether the timing of meals affects weight, body fat, and metabolism in people with obesity. Researchers provided all meals and snacks to 38 obese adults, who followed two different eating schedules for 8 weeks each: one with all eating between 8am-7pm, and another with all eating between noon-11pm. The goal was to measure changes in weight, body composition, and metabolic markers to understand if eating earlier in the day is better for health.
