NCT ID NCT03354169

First seen Nov 21, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study looked at whether eating the same amount of food at different times of day affects weight, body fat, and metabolism in people with obesity. 38 adults were given all their meals and snacks and told to eat either during the day or later in the evening. The goal was to understand how meal timing might influence body weight and energy use, not to provide a treatment or cure.
