First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study tests whether a diet rich in medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs) can help people recover faster after lung surgery. MCTs are fats that bypass the lymphatic system, which may reduce fluid buildup and speed healing. The trial will enroll 210 adults undergoing lung lobectomy to see if the diet shortens hospital stays by about one day.
