First seen Mar 30, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study looked at 74 people who had a stroke or mini-stroke due to a narrowed artery in the brain. They all received a procedure to open the artery. Researchers used a special MRI to look at the artery walls and checked if certain features could predict another stroke within 15 months. The goal was to see if this imaging method can help doctors better understand and manage stroke risk.
