First seen Mar 30, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looked at 74 people who had a stroke or mini-stroke due to a narrowed brain artery. They all received medication and a procedure to open the artery. Researchers used a special MRI to see if images of the artery wall could help predict if another stroke would happen within 15 months. The goal was to learn if this imaging tool can improve future treatment decisions.
