First seen Mar 20, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study compares two ways to treat aneurysms in a specific brain artery: open surgery (clipping) and a less invasive procedure (endovascular coiling or stenting). Researchers want to see which method works better and is safer for patients. About 400 adults with this type of aneurysm will take part, and their progress will be tracked for one year.
