Summary
This study tests an experimental oral medication called MB-001 in 100 adults with moderate-to-severe ulcerative colitis. Participants take either MB-001 or a placebo daily for 12 weeks to see if it improves symptoms, reduces gut inflammation, and is safe. After that, everyone can receive MB-001 for another 12 weeks. The goal is to control the disease, not cure it.
