Summary
This study tests an experimental oral medication called MB-001 for people with moderate to severe ulcerative colitis. About 100 adults will take either MB-001 or a placebo daily for 12 weeks to see if it safely reduces symptoms and gut inflammation. After that, all participants can receive MB-001 for another 12 weeks. The goal is to control the disease, not cure it.
