NCT ID NCT07244068
First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study looks at whether mat Pilates, when added to regular physical therapy, can reduce pain and improve posture in school-aged children with Upper Crossed Syndrome—a condition causing forward head, rounded shoulders, and a curved upper back. About 28 children aged 8 to 16 will take part, with half doing Pilates plus therapy and the other half doing therapy alone. Researchers will measure changes in neck and back angles and pain levels using simple tools.
