New MRI-Guided radiation aims to cut side effects in endometrial cancer

NCT ID NCT07514325

First seen Apr 07, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study tests a new way to give radiation therapy to women with endometrial cancer after surgery. The approach uses MRI scans during each treatment to aim the radiation more precisely at the tumor area, which may reduce side effects. About 61 participants will receive five radiation sessions over two and a half weeks. The main goal is to see if this method causes fewer bowel and bladder problems within three months.
