Summary
This study re-examines 317 adults with type 2 diabetes who were first checked between 2019 and 2023. Researchers use advanced scans and blood tests to see how many have fatty liver disease (MASLD) and whether it has gotten better or worse over time. The goal is to learn what factors predict liver disease progression, not to test a new treatment.
