Summary
This early study aimed to develop a child-friendly liquid version of the antiviral drug maribavir. Researchers tested two powder formulas in 20 healthy adults to see how the body absorbs them compared to adult tablets, and to check their taste and safety. The goal was to gather information to make a better medicine for children who have trouble swallowing pills.
