This study looked at 80 adults in the ICU with septic shock to see if increasing their blood pressure from 65 mmHg to 85 mmHg helps protect their kidneys. Researchers measured kidney blood flow and checked for kidney injury. The goal was to learn if a higher blood pressure target improves kidney survival.
