Summary
This study looked at whether manual therapy (hands-on treatment) and a cognitive exercise therapy approach called BETY can reduce headache pain and improve quality of life in people with headaches caused by temporomandibular joint disorder (TMD). Sixty adults aged 18 to 60 with TMD-related headaches took part. The treatments aimed to ease pain, improve jaw and neck movement, and boost overall well-being over 8 weeks, with follow-ups at 5 months.
