First seen Feb 20, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study tested whether special clear aligners can correct jaw growth in children aged 10-16 with a type of overbite called Class II malocclusion. 21 participants were randomly assigned to one of three treatments: aligners with or without a bite-opening feature, or standard twin-block braces. The goal was to see if the aligners improve jaw position, teeth alignment, and the child's quality of life over 6 months.
