First seen Mar 12, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study tested two different malaria vaccines—one targeting the blood stage and one the liver stage—both alone and combined, in 107 healthy adults and infants in The Gambia. The main goal was to check safety and how well the vaccines trigger an immune response. Results will help decide if combining vaccines could offer better protection against malaria.
