New putty could speed up spine fusion in teens with scoliosis

NCT ID NCT07512336

First seen Apr 15, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study tests a new bone graft putty (MagnetOs Putty) against the standard bone graft in teens and young adults with scoliosis. The goal is to see if the putty helps the spine bones fuse faster and better after surgery. About 140 participants will have one side of their spine treated with the putty and the other side with their own bone. If successful, patients may recover more quickly and have fewer activity restrictions.
