New putty could speed up scoliosis recovery in teens
NCT ID NCT07512336
First seen Apr 15, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study tests a new bone graft putty (MagnetOs Putty) against the standard bone graft in 140 teens and young adults with scoliosis. Each patient will receive the putty on one side of the spine and the standard graft on the other, so doctors can directly compare healing. The goal is to see if the putty helps bones fuse faster and more reliably, which could allow patients to move sooner and avoid activity restrictions after surgery.
