NCT ID NCT06578442
First seen May 16, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tested whether applying a magnetic field to the belly can reduce constipation severity in people with long-term constipation. 75 adults were split into three groups: one received real magnetic therapy twice a week for 8 weeks, one received a fake (sham) treatment, and one received only standard education about managing constipation. The researchers measured changes in constipation symptoms and quality of life to see if the magnetic therapy made a difference.
