Summary
This study tested three different doses of magnesium (1, 2, or 3 grams) to see which best prevents kidney damage caused by the chemotherapy drug cisplatin. 100 adults with head and neck cancer took part. Researchers measured kidney injury markers and side effects over 7 cycles of treatment to find the safest and most protective dose.
