Summary
This study tested whether giving different doses of magnesium can prevent kidney damage caused by the chemotherapy drug cisplatin. 100 people with head and neck cancer received either 1, 2, or 3 grams of magnesium alongside their treatment. Researchers measured kidney injury markers to find the best protective dose.
