Can a simple pill tame your blood pressure?

NCT ID NCT03688503

Summary

This study tested whether taking a daily magnesium supplement for 12 weeks could lower blood pressure in adults with untreated, mild high blood pressure. Fifty-nine participants were randomly assigned to receive either magnesium pills or placebo pills. The main goal was to see if the supplement caused a measurable drop in blood pressure readings.
