New pain block shows promise for hysterectomy recovery

Summary

This study tested a new type of nerve block called M-TAPA to see if it can reduce pain after laparoscopic hysterectomy. Fifty women having the surgery received the block, and their pain was measured over 24 hours. The goal was to find a better way to manage pain after this common procedure.
