New pain block eases recovery after hysterectomy

Summary
This study tested a new type of nerve block, called M-TAPA, to see how well it controls pain after a laparoscopic hysterectomy. Fifty women having the surgery received the block, and their pain was measured over 24 hours. The goal was to find a better way to manage pain after this common procedure.
