Summary
This study tested whether adding luspatercept to standard cyclosporine treatment helps people with newly diagnosed non-severe aplastic anemia (a rare bone marrow failure condition) who do not yet need blood transfusions. The trial enrolled 58 adults and compared the combination therapy to cyclosporine alone. The main goal was to see if the combination improved blood counts and reduced symptoms like fatigue and risk of infection.
