Summary
This study looked at 165 patients in the intensive care unit after major abdominal or urinary surgery. Doctors used lung ultrasound to measure fluid in the lungs and see if it could predict who would develop severe breathing problems. The goal was to learn if this simple test could help identify high-risk patients early.
