First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This study looks at how healthy lungs respond to a substance that mimics a bacterial infection. Researchers will collect lung cells and fluids from 58 healthy non-smoking adults to study inflammation and tiny molecules called microRNA. The goal is to better understand the body's natural defense process, not to treat any disease.
