First seen May 01, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study tests a new technique called In Vivo Lung Perfusion (IVLP) that delivers chemotherapy directly into one lung during surgery to remove lung tumors. The goal is to kill any remaining cancer cells while reducing side effects on the rest of the body. About 10 adults with colorectal cancer that has spread to both lungs will take part. Researchers are checking if the procedure is safe and finding the best dose of the drug oxaliplatin.
