Simple 5-Minute bike ride could predict surgery complications for lung cancer patients
NCT ID NCT07506889
Summary
This study is testing a new, simpler way to predict who is at high risk for serious complications after lung cancer surgery. Researchers will have 500 patients with suspected lung cancer perform a short, low-intensity bike test while their breathing is monitored. The goal is to see if this easy test can accurately identify patients who might have problems after surgery or during other cancer treatments, making risk assessment more widely available.
