NCT ID NCT07279948
First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study will observe about 477 current or former smokers in Brazil to see how well lung cancer screening works in a region where other lung diseases are common. The goal is to find out how often screening gives false alarms, which can lead to extra tests and worry. No new treatments are tested; instead, researchers will collect data to improve future screening programs.
