NCT ID NCT07279948

Not yet recruiting Knowledge-focused Sponsor: AstraZeneca Source: ClinicalTrials.gov ↗

Summary

This study aims to understand the real-world results of lung cancer screening in Brazil. Researchers will observe about 477 high-risk smokers to see how often scans incorrectly suggest cancer, leading to unnecessary follow-up tests. The goal is to learn if screening works as well in areas with high rates of other lung diseases, and to track patient outcomes.
