First seen Feb 25, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study tests a new way to plan radiation therapy for advanced lung cancer. Doctors will use a special scan (SPECT/CT) to see which parts of the lung work best, then aim radiation away from those areas to reduce side effects like coughing and shortness of breath. About 90 people with lung cancer who need radiation will take part.
