Italian researchers launch major lung cancer observation study

Summary
This study aims to collect detailed information about 1000 adults in Italy who have advanced (stage IV) lung cancer at the time they are first diagnosed. Researchers will look at patients' backgrounds, symptoms, imaging scans, and tumor samples to better understand the disease. No new treatments are being tested; the goal is simply to gather knowledge that may help improve future care.
