This study tested two drugs, auranofin and sirolimus, together in 29 people with advanced lung cancer that had stopped responding to standard treatments. The goal was to find the best dose and see if the combination could slow or stop cancer growth. The trial focused on safety and how long patients lived without their cancer getting worse.
