New drug cocktail shows promise for Hard-to-Treat lung cancer before surgery

Summary
This study is for people with a specific type of lung cancer (non-squamous non-small cell) that has a KRAS G12C mutation and can be removed with surgery. It tests whether giving a targeted drug (sotorasib) plus standard chemotherapy before surgery can shrink the tumor more than chemotherapy alone. About 27 adults will take part, and the main goal is to see how many tumors show a major response after treatment.
