Scientists probe if time of day influences Cancer's travel in the blood
NCT ID NCT05988970
Summary
This study aimed to understand if the body's natural daily rhythm (circadian rhythm) affects how lung cancer cells spread through the bloodstream. Researchers followed 27 patients with advanced lung cancer for one year, taking blood samples before they started treatment. The goal was to gather knowledge about cancer biology, not to test a new treatment.
