Scientists probe body Clock's role in cancer spread

NCT ID NCT05988970

Summary

This study aimed to understand if the body's natural daily rhythm (circadian rhythm) influences how lung cancer cells spread through the bloodstream. It followed 27 patients with advanced lung cancer for one year, taking blood samples before they started treatment. The goal was to gather knowledge to potentially help guide future treatment timing, not to test a new therapy.
