Summary

This study looks at whether a treatment tailored to a specific gene (LSD1) can better control blood pressure and protect the kidneys in Black adults with hypertension. About 300 participants who carry a certain gene variant will follow a controlled diet and receive therapy for 4 weeks. The goal is to find a more effective way to manage high blood pressure in this group.
