Summary

This study looks at whether a treatment tailored to a specific gene (LSD1) can better control high blood pressure and protect the kidneys in Black adults who carry a certain risk version of that gene. About 300 participants will follow a controlled diet and have their blood pressure measured before and after four weeks of therapy. The goal is to find a more effective way to manage hypertension in this group.
