New hope for relapsed t-cell blood cancers: experimental drug combo enters trial

Summary

This study tests a new experimental drug, LP-118, combined with three other medicines (ponatinib, vincristine, and dexamethasone) in adults with T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia or lymphoma that has come back or not responded to treatment. The goal is to find a safe dose and see if the combination can put the cancer into remission. About 15 participants will be enrolled at the University of Chicago.
