First seen Feb 06, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study tests whether giving a lower radiation dose to healthy parts of the prostate, while keeping a high dose only to visible tumors, can reduce bowel and urinary side effects in men with low- or intermediate-risk prostate cancer. About 54 men will receive two MRI-guided radiotherapy sessions and be followed for up to 2 years. The goal is to maintain cancer control while improving quality of life.
