First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 32 times
Summary
This study tests a new mammography machine that uses a special type of X-ray to produce high-quality breast images with at least 20% less radiation than standard mammograms. About 52 women aged 40 and older who have had a mammogram before will be enrolled. The goal is to see if the new machine is as good as or better than current mammography at detecting breast issues, especially in women with dense breast tissue.
