First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study tested whether adding a low dose of the drug Interleukin-2 (IL-2) to a standard therapy called Extracorporeal Photopheresis (ECP) could help people with chronic graft-versus-host disease (cGVHD) that did not improve with steroids. cGVHD is a serious condition where donor immune cells attack the patient's body after a stem cell transplant. The trial included 25 participants and measured how many had a response after 16 weeks of treatment.
