Summary
This study is testing whether a low-carbohydrate diet can help improve blood sugar control in teenagers with type 2 diabetes. Researchers will compare teens following a low-carb diet to those following standard diabetes dietary guidelines over a 6-month period. The goal is to see if reducing carbohydrates leads to better diabetes management, weight loss, and reduced need for medications.
