Can a 12-Week diet turn back the clock on heart failure?
NCT ID NCT05887271
Summary
This study is testing whether a 12-week low-calorie diet can improve symptoms, heart function, and exercise ability in adults with a common type of heart failure linked to obesity and type 2 diabetes. Sixty-three participants will be randomly assigned to either start the diet immediately or receive standard care first. The goal is to see if significant weight loss can help control this difficult-to-treat condition and improve quality of life.
